It goes without saying that ish is getting high these days but finding ways to make more money in the coming year is one way to get ahead of the price jumps. It's just a matter of matching yourself with something that's in demand - whether it be a product, service, or idea. And because there may be steep competition, you may have to step up our promotion game.
Be braced for changes within industries. In other words, promotional methods that may have worked five years ago may now have stricter requirements or request that you come up with something else upfront. Lately, I've been running into all kinds of craziness in promoting my past articles to the point where I wanted to throw in the towel.
However, be on alert for opportunities that may arise from the obstacles. If you don't follow, here's an analogy. You're interested in someone who's playing hard to get. So much to the extent that watching their every move or decoding their communication has become a full-time job. While it shouldn't get to that point, you may find yourself becoming bored with that person of interest and their games. After you've stepped away (like a sane person and not someone determined to force a square peg through a round hole), you find there are others out there who enjoy good conversation and having a nice time instead of being a narcissist.
Not every freelancing entity should try to be Amazon in terms of price-gouging. And it's safe to say that the e-commerce giant will have its day as well.
Anyway, before I sign off for the year, I wanted to share this disclaimer. While the speaker has great advice, I cannot attest to the fact that his suggestions will bring you $10K a month (a claim he makes on his YouTube page). Seriously. The UX/UI field is already becoming the registered nursing thing from 30+ years ago. Meaning it will become saturated, some who make it will get burned out, and even more people will lose money paying outrageous tuition that doesn't result in a bachelor's or higher.
